Why Breathability Depends on Water Repellency
When the outer fabric of your waterproof jacket absorbs water ("wets out"), it can lose up to 70% of its breathability. This traps sweat inside, making you feel clammy and cold. Regularly cleaning with Tech Wash and re-waterproofing with TX.Direct keeps your DWR working and your gear performing at its best.
How to Use
Tech Wash®
Shake bottle before use. Do not use conventional detergents.
Remove detergent build-up from the dispenser drawer.
Place up to 2 garments in the machine.
Use 150ml (medium/hard water) or 100ml (soft water).
Run a 30°C synthetic cycle on a slow spin.
TX.Direct® Wash-In
Always clean with Tech Wash first in a separate cycle.
