This high-performance, PFAS-free waterproofer is designed to revive the Durable Water Repellency (DWR) of breathable waterproof clothing — keeping you drier, warmer, and more comfortable in wet conditions.

Why You Need It

Over time, the DWR coating on your waterproof gear wears off. When the outer fabric starts to absorb water ('wetting out'), your jacket can lose up to 70% of its breathability — leaving you feeling clammy and cold. TX.Direct® Wash-In renews that protection without the need for tumble drying.

How to Use (Washing Machine)

1. Clean your garment first with Nikwax Tech Wash® in a separate wash cycle.
2. Remove any detergent residue from the dispenser.
3. Place up to 2 clean garments in the machine.
4. Add 100ml of TX.Direct® per garment.
5. Run a 30°C synthetic cycle on a slow spin.
6. Air dry, or tumble dry on low if the care label allows.

How to Use (By Hand)

1. Wear gloves. Immerse 1 clean garment in 7.5L of hand-hot water.
2. Add 100ml of TX.Direct® and agitate to mix.
3. Leave to soak for 5 minutes, then agitate thoroughly.
4. Rinse with cold water until clear, then air dry.

Pro tip: Always clean with Nikwax Tech Wash® before re-proofing — dirt and detergent residue can mask DWR and reduce effectiveness.
